Science Fair

All eighth graders are required to submit a project using the scientific method as a component of their science grade. Facets of a project include the question or problem, hypothesis, methodology, independent, dependent, and control variables. The Science Fair project requires students to complete a long-term, involved research project, and they have the opportunity to discover real-life applications of scientific theories or problems and pursue projects reflective of their interests or hobbies. All first and second places go to the San Mateo County Fair.
