KinderKindness

KinderKindness Day is a joyful celebration that highlights empathy, connection, and kindness for our youngest students and allows them to discover that small acts of kindness create ripples of positivity that can transform the broader community. KinderKindness Day is an extension of World Kindness Day, and it builds on this global theme by reimagining what it means to truly be a hero and change the world one act of kindness at a time. Activities may include a collective brainstorm on what kindness looks like at home or at school, followed by a drawing or writing activity about how each student put these ideas into practice. Teachers may opt to read books or sing songs about kindness, create kindness paper chains, or develop collaborative kindness art projects. On KinderKindness Day, students wear capes and receive medals in recognition of what it means to truly be a hero.
