Agreements & Salary Schedules
Public school districts employ teachers, support staff, and administrators to achieve their educational goals for students. Employee compensation is comprised of salary/wages and benefits (such as health benefits, including vision and dental, and pension benefits, as regulated by state law).
Teachers and non-teaching certificated staff with a teaching credential are represented by the Cabrillo Unified Teachers' Association (CUTA):

- CUTA Pensions (managed through the California Public State Teachers' Retirement System, CALSTRS)
- CUTA "Step-and-Column Salary Schedule (based on years of service and educational attainment)
- CUTA Cocurricular and Special Assignment Salary Schedule 2025-26 (district committees, dept. heads, etc)
