After-School Enrichment Programs

The middle school After-School Club for students in grades 6 - 8 across the district is held at Cunha every school day until 5:30pm, in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club, including academic support and fun enrichment activities.

"Dolphin Club" at El Granada Elementary School provides free enrichment, homework help, snacks, and childcare Monday through Friday on school days until 5:45pm for students in grades 2 - 5. "TK Club" offers after-school care for students in transitional kindergarten (and kindergarten, depending on availability), Monday through Friday on school days until 5:30pm. TK Club features enrichment activities, snacks, free choice time, and rest.

"Workshop Education" is an independent provider that offers fee-based, on-site childcare at Farallone View after school, Monday through Friday, every day that school is in session. "Eagle Club" at Hatch Elementary School is part of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, which provides enrichment, homework help, snacks, and childcare Monday through Friday on school days until 5:00pm for students in grades TK - 5. Once a week, all students receive targeted academic intervention with a credentialed teacher, and once a week, they enjoy special activities in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club. These activities are offered to 2nd and 3rd graders on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the first semester and to 4th and 5th graders during the second semester.

"Venture Free" at Kings Mountain Elementary School is a fee-based after-school program available Monday through Friday on school days until 6:00pm for students in grades TK - 5, with scholarships available. Venture Free emphasizes child-led, hands-on, project-based, and nature-centered experiences that foster students’ social-emotional growth, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Students may also receive structured, academic-based support as needed. 

Coastside Children's Programs (CCP) leases a building on each elementary school campus to provide independent before and after-school care until 5:30pm each school day for students in grades TK - 5, including a snack, homework help, and free-choice time.
