Opera Together

Opera Together represents a partnership between Cabrillo Unified School District and the San Francisco Opera, which provides materials related to a particular opera to fourth and fifth-graders to study and perform. On performance day, three singers from the San Francisco Opera spend the day at the school, directing a dress rehearsal with the fourth and fifth graders and then performing the Opera at a school-wide assembly, with the students taking the side and ensemble parts and the professional singers singing the leads.
